Industrial traceability applications

Fibre laser marking across UK manufacturing

Permanent product and component identification for automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical, engineering and general manufacturing applications.

Application-led engineering

Different industries share the same need for dependable identity.

Whether the mark supports assembly, quality, service, anti-mix-up control or lifetime traceability, the system must fit the part and the production environment. We shape the machine around your acceptance criteria and workflow.

01

Automotive & EV

Components, connectors, housings and build-specific serialisation.

02

Aerospace & engineering

Permanent part references and controlled production identification.

03

Electronics

Compact marks on housings, assemblies and technical components.

04

Medical & laboratory

High-resolution, non-contact identification for controlled processes.

Production sectors

A marking platform configured for the sector and part family.

System design changes with the product: a hand-loaded tool requires a different fixture and safety concept from an automated electronics housing or an automotive component travelling through an assembly line.

  • Automotive and electric vehicle components
  • Aerospace and precision engineering
  • Electronics and electrical products
  • Medical, laboratory and technical plastics
  • Tools, fabricated products and general manufacturing
PROJECT STARTDescribe why the mark matters.

Acceptance criteria become clearer when we understand whether the identity supports quality, compliance, service, warranty or process control.

Scale of system

Start with a workstation or build a connected marking cell.

The application may suit a manually loaded enclosed cabinet, rotary fixture, automated in-line unit or turnkey cell with robotics and vision. We select only the capabilities needed to make the process robust.

  • Bench and floor-standing workstations
  • Rotary marking configurations
  • Conveyor-mounted in-line systems
  • Robot-loaded cells
  • Vision, data logging and reject handling
FUTURE PRODUCTSShare the likely part range.

Knowing future sizes, materials and mark positions helps us design tooling and machine access with useful flexibility.

Application questions

Questions about your manufacturing sector?

Every material and production process is different. We will help you turn the marking requirement into a practical specification.

Call 01865 362785
01Do you supply one standard laser for every industry?+

No. The laser source, optics, enclosure, fixture, extraction, software and integration should be selected around the actual material, mark and process.

02Can one system mark a family of products?+

Often yes. Saved recipes, change-part fixtures, adjustable focus and product verification can support multiple components within the machine's working range.

03Do you offer sample trials?+

Yes. Representative samples allow us to assess material response, contrast, cycle time, code quality and suitable process settings before a final proposal.

Your information is used only to respond to this enquiry.

How should a fibre-laser marking enquiry be prepared?

Provide the actual material, surface finish and required text or code, together with the available marking area. Include any handling or downstream conditions the mark must withstand. Ask for application-specific sample results and confirmation of the fixture, enclosure and extraction arrangement rather than selecting by laser power alone.
