Marking, data and production control
Application-led industrial marking systems that combine the laser process with fixtures, controls, serialisation, code verification and production integration.
About Oxford Traceability
Oxford Traceability specifies and integrates permanent marking and identification systems for UK manufacturers. Our role extends beyond the laser head: we define how the part is presented, how the correct data is selected, how the mark is checked and how the result connects to the wider production process.
Representative sample trials give the project a practical evidence base before the final machine configuration is agreed.
Material, mark, cycle and acceptance criteria.
Source, optics, enclosure, fixtures and extraction.
PLCs, scanners, databases, vision and records.
Installation planning, training and production handover.
What we deliver
Projects range from an enclosed operator-loaded machine to an automated system handling multiple part variants. The selected scope is based on the risk of error, production rate, product range and evidence the customer needs from each cycle.
This keeps the system specification connected to the real material, acceptance standard and cycle rather than a generic machine list.
Who we support
We work with manufacturers and engineering teams that need permanent identity to support assembly, quality, compliance, service, warranty or lifetime product records.

Working with us
Give us the application facts and we will help structure the specification.
Contact Oxford TraceabilityYes. We specify the laser process and can provide the enclosure, fixture, controls, extraction interface, data connection, vision and handling needed for a complete application.
Yes. Representative samples are the preferred way to establish contrast, code quality, process time and suitable system configuration before a final proposal.
Yes. A project can include sensors, PLC handshakes, production data, conveyors, robots, vision inspection, result logging and reject handling around the laser process.
Oxford Traceability is based in Thame, Oxfordshire and supports industrial customers across the United Kingdom.
